Unless the number is produced via some electronic method (which would produce a series of looping "random" numbers), there is no way to accurately predict the numbers of the lottery.

I can, however, give you some advice on odds. Basically put, each ticket bought after the first one has a declining improvement of the odds of that ticket becoming the winning one. To half your odds you need to buy double the number of tickets you currently have. For example, if you have 100 tickets, which gives you a 1 in 100 chance, you would have to buy a further 100 tickets to give yourself a 1 in 50 chance. Odds of course are merely a representation of how many times an event can occur before, on average, the desire outcome is reached. So in the case of halfing odds, you don't necessarily double the chance of winning. In this sense the chance of a win is linear, with each ticket adding an extra 0.01% chance of winning.

As for choosing what numbers to put on, again it's purely odds based. In the sense that having the same numbers for months on end won't necessarily improve your chances, neither will choosing completely random numbers each time. A person who has the same numbers on one week has exactly the same odds to win as a person who puts on a random number. Keeping the same number doesn't guarantee a win, although one may argue that the number has to "eventually come up". In this sense there is a logic to the arguement. However with certain lotteries the odds are so huge that you would be long dead before the odds eventually dropped to 1 in 1. As such it's up to you whether or not you put on a new line each week or stick with the same one.

In regards to luck I won't say anything. There's no patterns to people who have won lottery in the past. Rabbits foots, the number seven, your mother's birthday; all of these things are purely coincidental when it comes to actually winning.

No, nobody can predict winning lottery numbers. Some pretend psychic might make a lucky guess vary rarely -- just like some non-psychics do when they win the lottery. Peace.

You cannot predict what will hit, but you can predict what others will pick. Avoid birthdates, sequences, etc. to reduce your chances you will have to split with others
