You need a fair bit of money to start with. You start by betting, say, $10 on black or red. If it doesn't come up, you bet $20 on the same colour. Since there is a 50/50 chance of either colour coming up, it shouldnt take too many goes to win. You keep doubling your bets until you win. You cant lose, but you only win the amount you bet the first time, in this case $10. Once you win, you start again. This way, you could make $10 every 3 or 4 games. And if 30 games were played an hour, thats $100 profit per hour. Not a bad wage if you ask me.

My friend I lve in Vegas and this is very dangerous. Actually it's called the Martingale system. One time I'm aware of red came up 26 times. Please beware.

1) You really need a lot of money, because long streaks sometimes do show up. If you're starting out with a $10 bet, you'll be laying down $320 after five straight losses and $640 after 6 straight losses.

2) If, at some point, you can't make the full bet -- or, even worse, you run into the table's max bet -- your plan falls apart.

3) The presence of the 0 and the 00 spots on the wheel mean that the chance of it landing on red (if you're playing on red) is 47.4%, not 50%.

Losing 7 in a row is more likely than you think, especially over the course of an hour.

First, it's not 50/50 on each color, since the green numbers can come up. It's actually 47% on each number. This makes a big difference.

Second, there are table limits on each table, which limits the number of times you're allowed to double up.

Third, even if you can do it infinitely, you'd eventually lose all your money. Streaks happen more often than most of us think. If you're able to double up 6 times, then you'll lose everything 1% of the time. Considering your loss is much larger than your win, it's a pretty big risk.

If you're just going to the casino to have fun and can afford to lose money, then it's fine. However, don't think that you found a way to beat the house. A -EV bet is a -EV bet, regardless of your betting system.

that is great if you can keep up with the successive draws of the one color eg it is often the case that at least 10 drops of the one color occurs - so to double up you have to have a huge cash balance $12,840 - if you have that available then good luck but if you have another drop, so thats 11 then add another $12,800
