Why do we only get 1 unlock per rank now? It used to be 2...Was it because of the patch or something?

ok i have a brother sewing machine, a pretty simple one 10 diff stiches no fancy computer stuff, reg needle and reg thread, but if i try sewing some thin cotton or sewing satin even though satin is thicker it eats up both like crazy. one of two things keeps happening, the threads will break top/bottom/orboth, or the fabric will get sucked into the bottom. this is driving me nutts. i have tried adjusting the upper thread tension a little but havent strayed far from five, so i have tried 4 and 6. what am i doing wrong? the machine does great with heavier fabrics.

Ok, so im really desperate after getting that Teddy Geiger EP Snow blankets the night. But since im norwegian they dont have it on the norwegian itunes so i cant download it. And ive search for it everywhere but there is no other place I can get it that on the America itunes. How can i get it otherwise? I want it so badly. Please help me!The one that can make me get it will get the best answers. xoxo

I was almost done knitting my mother a blanket (for Christmas). Then I realized that I messed up in a way that was impossible to fix. I dropped a stitch a while back and its starting to falling apart! It took me about 2 months! I was using skinny needles and the yarn was kind of skinny too. Do they make really fat yarn and needles???? If you don't think I can make another by Christmas, what else do you think I can knit for her???? Thanks soooo much for your help.

I am interested in taking up quilting to make cat beds, lap blankets and bed quilts etc. I was wondering if there was any reason the Singer Prelude wouldn't work for these things since in my research I saw they have specific machines for quilting.

I'm trying to learn how to knit. I want to make a Christmas present for someone by knitting it for them.
I've got the continental cast-on down pat.....but after that....I just can't seem to get it to work, just yet.

How long did it take you to perfect this?
Was it tricky? Or was it pretty easy - and I'm just not lucky in knitting? =)

I used to be a video game fanatic, but over the last 5 years I've finished 3 video games that I can think of. So I was hoping I'd have some fellow fantasy nerds here give good recomendations.

My favorite franchises have been Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry and Onimusha. Although I've actually played quite a few RPGs and enjoyed all of them, so that's kind of what I'm looking for. Something with a deep plot but plenty of action would be nice, and I'll list some games I've played and like so that you know what not to suggest.

-Final Fantasy VII, VIII, X, XI (for a year or so, until my PS2 was involved in an incident that wrecked it and my hard drive), and XII
-Devil May Cry 1, 2, and 3
-Onimusha 1, 2, and 3
-Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 (I was too young when the first come out, although I did watch very attentively when my older brother played it)
-Max Payne 1 and 2
-Legend Of The Dragoon
-Breath Of Fire: Dragon Quarter

I've been considering Xenosaga. What do you think?
