I was almost done knitting my mother a blanket (for Christmas). Then I realized that I messed up in a way that was impossible to fix. I dropped a stitch a while back and its starting to falling apart! It took me about 2 months! I was using skinny needles and the yarn was kind of skinny too. Do they make really fat yarn and needles???? If you don't think I can make another by Christmas, what else do you think I can knit for her???? Thanks soooo much for your help.

I don't know how to explain this in words, but you can fix a dropped stitch. google something like "correcting a dropped stitch in knitting" ; ;you should find some sites with videos that will show you how to pick up a dropped stitch with a crochet hook. then you can still give the blanket you worked so hard on.
