i just bought one and unfortunately i still live at home and my mom is freaking out saying that i have to go to a shooting range for a bb gun, this is rediculous, im not shhoting it at people or animals, just targets in my backyard, is that illegal?

I need some help... I am at gold rush round 3 challenge 10, I have been unable to put an answer and it keeps saying that I have to close the current challenge to access the vault but I have already done 9 and it says that I completed and it is done, however, every time I try to access it it won't let me put in the answer.
