Last night, my aunt served Irish coffees for our St. Patricks Day party(we are very proud of our Irish heritage.) She wouldn't tell us what she put in it, she only told us that there wasn't any alcohol in it. When I asked her how to make it, she gave me a pre-measured packet of coffee gorunds that was labeled "Irish creme" and told me this is what she used.
But, I have heard that to make a true Irish coffee you have to use things such as orange juice, lemon juice , or whiskey. I don't think juice would be a very appetizing combination of coffee, and I can't use whiskey because I'm underage.
What do you think of this?
