So my friend has been in Iraq for 6 months, and we're throwing him a "Rednecks Gone Wild" party for his Homecoming! We decided to get beer mugs for everybody and make welcome home tags for them. On this inside of the tag we wanted to put some kind of toast, but I can't seem to find anything good on the internet!!! Can anyone please HELP??!!??!!

There will be a lot of little kids and the house has white carpet so the food should be rather easy to eat without making a mess.

My birthday is coming up and we are settled on a garden party with a barbecue etc.

I always try to do something different - last year my cake was a pyramid made of swiss rolls - and I need some suggestions for this year.

I'm looking for:

1) Food and drinks recipes (perhaps non-alcoholic cocktails for my younger guests and those driving) that may be quite obscure but truly scrumptious;

2) Things for my guests to do. I thought about a guestbook for messages. Any other ideas?

3) Decor. I don't really want a theme, but if you know of some affordable garden furniture available in UK or other garden items, I would appreciate your help.

On your marks, get set..............start planning!

okay to bring something to his class to celebrate his birthday, but, the school no longer allows sweets such as cakes, ice cream, cookies. Asside from the normal fruit tray, any unique ideas on what I can do? There are 21 5 year olds.

I know it sounds kind of country to have fried chicken at a wedding reception, but that is what I like! I want a variety of foods because my fiance and I have a mix of heritages. I am German, Hungarian, and Choctaw Indian. He is German and Italian. I want German, Mexican, Chinese, and soul food. Would it be too wierd or should I get what we like and not worry about everyone else since it is our day?

It's not like "Pancakes are delicious!". With a distinct sensory experience, of course. I just felt pangs of hunger in pancake right now and I can't remember it's taste anymore. The last time I've eaten a pancake was 8 years ago! And no - I'm not wasting my points. I feel very pleasant especially after reading a 'tasty' description.

So, give me an eating-a-pancake feeling now! :)
