I can remember the struggle to get lager in the late sixties and early seventies. It had just become available on draught but you had to fill out a questionnaire to get one. "Pint or half?", "With lime or without?", "Straight glass or jug?". You would battle with this all through the winter and come a hot summer's evening, every bloody pub in town ran out of the stuff. Those were the days.

In the 70s, I was only old enough to drink soda.

There was Strawberry and Orange Crush, Pepsi, Coca Cola, 7-Up, Catus Cooler, Dr. Pepper. . .I can't think of anything else.
