I obtained a bottle of Vodka, not sure about any flavoring because I haven't tasted it yet and it has no label, but I can't get any other alcoholic beverages so I'd like to know what is a good mix from what is typically in a house. I'm obviously not a big drinker so I don't really have much knowledge.

I live in an area where Pernod is easy to find, and knowing little about the labels to begin with, I am wondering what they all mean. I heard Pernod makes absinthe as well, which would be good to try at least once.

Im using a blow off with a hose running in a 2 quart jar with water luckely I had this stuff all in side a 55 gal fish tank because it has bubbled up really bad and is flowing over. I left room for like a half gallon and I have blown out allmost a gallon now its like 3/4 of the way full besides being up set of loosing so much brew im not sure why its bubbling so bad. I never had this problem with 1 gal batches. It is also having these explosive bursts of air instead of just bubbling has these bursts that cause so much pressure it almost empties the jar of water im using whats going on is it supposed to bubble so much.

Marks and Spencers and possibly the other supermarkets sell cantucci biscuits which you dip in the Italian dessert wine named Vin Santo, but strangely not the wine to go with it. The only place I know that sells it is that Italian shop at the top of Leith Walk in Edinburgh, and having little time left and already having experienced several Edinburgh Christmas shoppers attempting to knock me off my feet like Richard Ashcroft last week, I'm not prepared to go back there again. I can't imagine Kirkcaldy has anywhere that sells it, but I'd be prepared to go as far as somewhere like St. Andrews since it has nicer shops. Does anyone know of somewhere that sells it? Or should I just substitute a sweet sherry instead?
