not that it is really any of my business but you might drink more than soemone else because you may drink MORE OFTEN (for example if you are the exact age and size of someone but you drink every day and they only drink occasionaly then you may grow a tollerence for the alcohol where as the other person hasn't) .... not that i am a Dr. oh and there are also a lot of other factors like the ones other people mentioned i mean it all just factors in and remember no two bodies are the same so no two bodies are going to react the exact same oh and another reason could be that you ate more that day than the other person food absorbs alcohol

Maybe you enjoy it more? Or perhaps you have some deep emotional distress that you are pushing down with the alcohol? Maybe you just have a higher tolerance to alcohol, which allows you to drink more than the average person - which would indicate you enjoy spirits quite frequently.

Because you possess more of the alcohol metabolising enzyme which allows you to consume and process more alcohol before experiencing adverse effects. This is a genetic trait, the propensity to produce the enzyme being passed down from your parents, thus the supposed pattern of alcoholism in families
