I am having a christmas party and want to know what kind of alchohol one should mix with eggnog? Help me out please. Thanks.

I have been making my own eggnog for years. I make it with a dozen eggs, a quart and a half of (proprietary) dairy products, various spices and sugars. It is exceptionally good too. There is only one liquor I will add to my very special recipe. That is Captain Morgan's spiced rum. Not a lot mind you. It is not a drink you want to try to get drunk from. But the addition of small amounts, to each glass as the individuals' tastes may vary, makes the quaff irresistible to those who like eggnog. Myer's is good too, but I know from twenty years of home making the stuff. I can no longer make enough of the drink to please all of my friends every Christmas season. It can't be beat!!

Maker’s Mark has a really good cinnamon flavor to it. When mixed with eggnog it comes out great.
