Singles & Dating - 7 March 2007

Basically ... this guy had been telling me online that we needed to get together outside of school more often, but I'm not sure if he meant in a 'just friends' kind of way or a 'crush on me' kind of way. The other day after a school thing, he said that he and some friends were going to do something later and he invited me along. So we exchanged numbers and later on he calls me and asks if I'm still interested in coming and I say yes, yada yada. I figured there would be some other girls or something, but as it turned out, it was just me and him and a couple other guys. What does this mean? He was really sweet, but I couldn't tell if it was in a more-than-a-friend kind of way.

Have times changed or has my age just opened up new doors? When I was younger, I didn't think I'd get to a point where I'd be turning down girls for sex.

So, have times changed and more women are verbalizing their desires or has it always been like this and I was too young before to be "in the know"?

btw... I'm not stuck up, I just don't beleive in premarital sex.

man to date who is sensitive, caring and does not play too many head games? They can be religious but I don't want one with harsh religious beliefs. When I say fanatic, I'm talking about the ones who preach you a sermon. They tell you Harry Potter is satanic and veto anything that falls out of the "Christian norm". I have nothing against Christians but you have to live your life in my opinion.

I know, this question pops up everytime, but just bear with me. There is this cute guy on my bus to school, and he gets off at the same stop with me. We joke around a lot, it's like we never stop laughing when we're together. Sometimes he playfully pokes me or tickles me, stuff like that. Once I asked him if he knew this one guy in my class, and he was like "Why? Do you like him?" He seemed just a tiny bit jealous. He always says hi to me when we pass each other in the halls, and if I look him in the eyes when we're not talking, and he's far away, he smiles and looks away. Do you think he likes me? Thanks!!

A few years ago I was an assistant to my professor and we both fell deeply in love with each other. We both knew it wasn't right to pursue the relationship at that time and nothing happened between us both. I graduated and moved on. I recently got in contact with him again and still feel strongly about him. Should I try to pursue a relationship with him now that we are both in the clear or should I just try to keep it on a friend level? I can't stop thinking of him.

I am single for the first time in 14 years. I am 41. Before I was in my last relationship, I would meet people at bars. But now I don't really want to do that. Where do I go to meet people? Well. A my ex will not get over me. I'm WAY over him, but he insists on trying to say hi and things. I know I said I'd be his friend, but, I can't be because. That's just the way I get over people. Ok. I need someone to reassure me that I'm just being a complete worry wort. So, this morning my bf calls me and tells me that he went to work and he threw up when he got there and they let him leave because of that. Now, That was around 11 a.m.... It's like 6 p.m. now. I haven't heard from him all day. I did call him and txt him asking him if he was ok and still no answer. I wonder if he is really sick or is something else going on.

He tells me he loves me.. but he has a jealousy issue with me.. and is always afraid of me leaving him or something. It's to the point that now I'm thinking that way. This girl at work is a freshman, and im a sophmore, we go to differrent schools. i asked her to my school dance and she said okay but at the last minute said no because she didnt relize her dance was the same night. i gave her a rose and told her i liked her and would like to get to know her better. She said yah and that she really was looking forward to the dance but wanted to go to hers, Do not know why she didnt invite me to hers but whatever. this was three weeks ago. This weekend a girl my friend from school, said her grandparents asked about me. I guess the girl from works mom workes for her grandparents and asked what i was like. My friend from school said i was really nice. i found out they asked my friends mom and she said that i was trustworthy and would trust me to go anywhere with my friend from school.
