Basically ... this guy had been telling me online that we needed to get together outside of school more often, but I'm not sure if he meant in a 'just friends' kind of way or a 'crush on me' kind of way. The other day after a school thing, he said that he and some friends were going to do something later and he invited me along. So we exchanged numbers and later on he calls me and asks if I'm still interested in coming and I say yes, yada yada. I figured there would be some other girls or something, but as it turned out, it was just me and him and a couple other guys. What does this mean? He was really sweet, but I couldn't tell if it was in a more-than-a-friend kind of way.

By the way, this is the same guy who I thought had a crush on me a couple of months ago ... and who I'm starting to like (only just) now. Not that that really helps.

He likes you as a friend, a pal, just one of the guys. If a guy likes a girl he wants to get he alone...not with a whole pack of other guys.
