A few years ago I was an assistant to my professor and we both fell deeply in love with each other. We both knew it wasn't right to pursue the relationship at that time and nothing happened between us both. I graduated and moved on. I recently got in contact with him again and still feel strongly about him. Should I try to pursue a relationship with him now that we are both in the clear or should I just try to keep it on a friend level? I can't stop thinking of him.

If he feels the same way you do, he will contact you. Please don't be like the majority and pursue a relationship. What's wrong with being on the receiving end? If he's interested, trust me, he will contact you one way or another. Why else wouldn't he?
