Singles & Dating - 13 January 2007

We've been together for 8 months & he says that he loves me, but he's not inlove with me. He's only been inlove once, with the mother of his child who left him for another guy. They don't communicate at all unless it concerns the baby. He says that he wants to be with me but he can't give me what I want because he doesn't want to do the in LOVE thing and this has been his mind set before the baby mama, what happened with her was unintentional. The continuence of this relationship is entirely up to me. I'm madly inlove with him, but him JUST loving me is not enough, but I can't leave him because I love him so much and he's so good to me for the most part...what do I do?

we have been dating for about a week or so now and she moved about 3 hours away for family reasons so i try to call her once everyday just to say hi and see how shes doing. but just recently she hasnt answered my phone calls and she doesnt call me back. i know this doesnt really mean anything but on her myspace there is another guy in front of me.i havent talked to her in a day. do i need to just wait till she calls me back so that way i know if she is still interested. what should i do about this

I have been hashing this around for months now. Boundaries of relationships. When I first got together with my BF, he would not tolerate me chatting with other men. I simply ignore it, because we were not serious. Now however, we are very serious, and I no longer chat with my male friends. I basically, got rid of them all. Why then can he still chat to other women? He claims these women are from his classes or his place of employment. Is this not a double standard? He puts boundaries on me, but the moment I try to do the same, it doesn't seem to fly.

we dated for 5 days when she dumped me. 3 months later we got back together and were together for two years then out of nowhere she dumps me. I ask her why she says "i just stoped wanting to be with you". I am 22 years old and never had a relationship and have rarely dated. One thing I have realized over the years that guys are rarely attracted to me because of my severe acne, even though who find me attractive, have only seen me in make up that covers my scars or acne (I have severe acne and scars). This has really made me loose confidence in myself and made me sad as they judge me based on how I look. I would really like some advice on what should I really do, should I hide my face behind on heavy make every time, as I fear what their reaction would be if the see my face or should I not care on how I look? I really need to know if I should be with a guy who should really care on how I look or it normal to be judged that way. This problem has made very insecure and rather than being secured, I am always worried on what anyone would think about me, which should not be normal for a 22 year old!! I need an advice on what should I do, to not to be judged based on my look?
