I wasn't raped. I'm doing a paper for my PSYCH class. Thanks for your imput.

Yes, I know I could because I have, although I will never trust that person again nor will I forget what happened. I think that forgiveness is a part of the healing process. and it isnt condoneing what happened.

Are you kidding? It must be a hypothetical question or some kind of fantasy because if you had ever been raped you wouldn't need to ask.
Actually I suppose that true forgiveness is possible but to ever even look him in the face again is not.

I'll forgive him,maybe because it's a very hard and hurtful case to forgive,the only think I can tell you is forgive but don't forget. Because,U need to live,life is ahead of U catch it

No...rape is a horrible thing...i don't think i can ever forgive a person if he raped me....i think it is the only case in which i would hurt a person....

Me? No. Although, they say in therapy that forgiveness can be very healing and allow "closure." And also to NOT confuse forgiving with condoning the act.

It depends on if he was sincerely sorry, if he had truly changed and if I thought he would never do it to anyone ever again.
Of course just because I forgave him, doesn't mean I'd ever trust him or be able to be friendly towards him...that would probably be a no!

BTW I'm a guy, but I don't think you can forgive him. Do you think if he really like you or love you will ever do that? A person who love can never hurt the person he's in love with. I'm a guy, but before I do anything I will think of it before it hurt anyone. I would rather hurt myself than hurting the person I love.

I couldn't forgive him. That's just the lowest thing a person can do to another person No I wouldn't be able to forgive him.

well 4real doe u should forgive him it might take sum time.n to c him again i dnt think thats a gud idea cuz youll never going to learn to trust him again.
