Ok....I am 17 and he is 23...yeah i know BIG GAP! I work with him and we talk a lot. I email him and he emails me back and forth even though were like 1 door away from eachother. I have fallen for him really really hard and he seems to like me too but im not sure. He always makes eye contact and he picks on me (in a joking way)...and last friday i think it was we were taking christmas stuff to the storage trailor outside...and he told me to shut the door and he started asking me about an ex boyfriend and then he started putting on chapstik...i was getting nervous and i knew he could tell...did he wanna kiss me or am i over analyzing...then a few months back i emailed him and said something like BAH! and he replied back with a GUH! which um spells hug backwards...am i going crazy here...does he liike me???? I went out with a guy I was dating and we went for a drive. When we pulled over, I opened up a compartment & browsed through it casually, and also wanted to put away some change. He got annoyed and started saying there's nothing inside there, and pulled out a bunch of stuff and said see, there's nothing there! We had the windows open and it seemed like something fell out of the car that he was holding in his hand. I asked him to pull around so I can see it, cuz by this point I got suspicious of his reaction to me, and he refused, sayign I should just trust him and kinda threw an angry fit. I thought his behavior was unnecessary and unreasonable. If he wasn't hiding anything, why freak out if I opened his compartment? Why refuse to turn around? On the other hand, I am an untrusting person, I question some things cuz u can never fully trust anyone, & he used that against me saying I always put him under the microscope U just wanted to be trusted. So was he hiding something ?

i've been dating this guy for about six months and he introduced me to a few of his friends 3 months ago and one of his friends keeps asking me to sleep with him when the guy i'm dating is at work his job is 24 hours (marine drill instructor) when he goes to work it's 3 months at a time so he's not around as much and his friend i told him no four times already and he keeps bugging. how can i stop this? i told the guy that i'm dating and he told me not to have any conversation with him just ignore him because he's a slut he'll sleep with anybody. i feel really uncomfortable that his friend is doing this and everytime he does it he says don't tell anybody not even the guy i'm dating. why is he doing this to me? my friends said it could be a set up to see what kind of girl i am i'm not sure what is going on i just want it to stop. no rude comments i just need advice. do guys do set ups like this to test their girl?

Theres this girl and for a few fridays now (the only nights 16 year olds go out in the uk) ive always had a frustrating amount of time with her, where i get to be with her and make her laugh for a while but then something always happens to interrupt us and we get split up. i'm not the best looking boy in the world but im apparently quite sweet and funny. When i talk to her on msn recently ive started giving xxxxxxxxxxxxx's when i leave and she has reacted well, but i need to talk to her in person to take it further. How can i get some time with her without making her feel like i expect something or that shes pressured into seeing me or anything?

I heard many advice that are opposite from one another.

First, when you like a woman, you shouldn't hold back and try to win her heart. Show that you are really interested and don't waste your time playing mind games, such as playing hard to get, acting cool, etc. Ask her out right away and treat her really well!

Second, you should act cool towards a woman that you like. Hang on for a couple of days before you call her. Let her wonder if you are actually interested in her. Don't treat her too nice, because you will show up as desperate and expect too much from her. Attraction is all about keeping the girl still interested in you. Once she knows that she got your attraction, you're basically in her control and she doesn't want you anymore.

I tried both ways on different girls. There is just no correct way to do it!! If I treat her nice, she get scared, even though eventually i found out that she likes me. If I play it cool, she thinks that I'm not interested. Help!!!!!!!!

I'm in my mid twenties and have been in love with my best friend for over 10 years. He and I have previously talked about a relationship (i.e. he asked twice and I said no twice :) ... hey, I was young). Now that we're both older and have better grounding I really want to give it a serious shot. He's had girlfriends in the past and I've had a couple of boyfriends, however whenever I really "think" I like someone, I always think of him OR he someway brings himself into the picture. Neither one of us have ever gotten too seriously involved with anyone we've been in a relationship with (i.e. we haven't made love with anyone - or with each other for that matter)...I guess I'm kind of a hopeless romantic and wanted to wait until marriage ~ preferably to my best friend. We've recently expressed how we feel about each other, however I was in a relationship at the time --- my best friend told me have fun, just don't get engaged...what does that mean and what should I do?? :) Thanks!!

Mind you, they've had sex and he likes her too. He wants to take it slow (because he recently had his heart broken and so has she) but she can't contain her feelings (Not the sexual one's). It's easier for her to let go of the hurt than he is.

well, im finally learning to lose my grip on hopes we can still be together...we just didnt connect so it was better off it ended..in the past 3 months i learned skating, yoga and met new people...ive tried not to have contact with her at all...are there anymore suggestions to completely get her off my mind...i wish i could be friends with her but im not yet ready, so i hope not to see her in a long while..sometimes the feeling comes again and i try to fend it off...
