cautious waiting for the other to open up. I feel like he feels something but hes not sharing and holding it in. But i can tell by the way he looks at me. I know it's not about sex becuz I'm usually the one who intiates it. He told me last night he doesn't come on to me even when he wants to cuz he doesn't want me to think he's just about sex. He is starting to share more of his life with me, he shows me pics of his family, he took me to his classroom last night, is it too early after only 2 months to wonder? He just seems like he's not telling me the way he really feels. What's up with him?

Why I'm so upset is a real long story, but to make it simple, I found out this guy is dumping me. I don't want to be sulking the whole weekend over a guy, since I know that they come and go, but I just can't stop thinking about it. I REALLY want to forget and get on with my life.

I've tried reading, calling and IMing my BFF, doing homework, and listening to my ipod. Any suggestions?

My boyfriend broke up with me, and he told me that he still loves me. I still love him very very much, and he loves me. I don't see why we just can't be together. He said that there were things that he needed to do for himself, and that with our relationship, there was something missing (his partial loss of interest, which in the past had been renewed with some time apart), and that if that ever seemed to change then we can think about getting back together.

This is all very new, and I am having a very hard time especially since he had both planned on being together, getting married, and having a family.

Why isn't love enough?

I need to do something to prove to him that we belong together...

Any advise I could get would be greatly appreciated.

Some months ago, I met this girl that is much younger than me.
First, let me tell you that I am a very single man who has a great career and I am financially secure. I am in no way a freak or psycho and have never done this before. I am fiscally rich and emotionally poor. She is just the opposite; she is emotionally giving and financially poor.
Anyway, she is so nice to me and never asks for anything. She knows of my status and has told me over and over that she does "Not want my money". She even tries to by me things, even when I resist because I know that she can not afford it.
We love spending time together and make each other laugh. We talk on the phone all of the time and share our daily experiences. She stays at my house and although we have made love one time, it’s not about sex. Her companionship and snuggling at night are amazing. I feel good taking care of her and she truly loves the emotional support that I offer her.
She is 18 and I am 43. Is this wrong?

I don't know if I should get into another relationship. I get hurt everytime I fall in love. It's happened one after the other ever since my first love. I seem to pick the wrong ones. I've been with the liar, the cheater, and the abuser (who I beat up after he slapped me ONCE). I think I have a natural draw to the ones who do their girlfriends bad. I do have morals of kepping my virginity until I'm married and if that's the problem then I guess no one will love me for me. It seems that this one guy likes me, but I found out that he has a girlfriend and he doesn't plan on telling me. He doesn't know that I know. I've given up, but I need to know if I should keep looking or wait for someone to come my way before I just give up on love. Right now it's not in my favor.

First of all I am 13 and I go to a school where the other 8th graders have gone out already and up to 3rd base as far as ive herd. I am very shy and I have never had a girlfriend before and I like this girl, but I am not sure if she likes me. She invited me to her Batmitzvah, and that was really the only one I was invited to. We also have the same birthday. Please help me to figure out if she likes me also and what I should do if she does, like ask her out, how to ask her out, what to do, because I can't drive and only made some money from mowing in this past summer. i havent told my friends that i like him yet, i tell them that he is a jerk (which he is most of the time, like in english we are currently reading a book, and he always asks me " oh what page are u up to?", its stupid i no, and he always picks on me by saying sometimes that whenever we had to hand in our assignments, he would always go " mines better than urs" or "urs sucks").

and his friends ! omg my god where do i start! whenever i walk past him and his friends always call out my name to me in such a dicky way they know it irritates me and they know that i hate it when they do that! and you wanna know who started it ? its the guy that i like !

also a couple of weeks ago we were in english and having to sit next to each other (seating arrangements) we always talk to each other, anyhow there was this girl called hannah* she turned around (she sits in front of us) and says that we should go out (referring to me and him) ... we both said no. she asked him why not? and ....

It's one of those times, that you hear the words, such as I really love you! But in some situations, she's showing no respect of how or why I feel like I do, I don't see the sacrifice I believe that should be there when we talk about real love.
