good question, i wish i knew. ive broken up 4mths now and everyone has a different answer. some say 'give it time to find yourself' some say move straight on, or keep busy, or stay home. i reckon u just have to live day to day and try and get it out of your system. from talking to my friends etc. giving it some time is good, gives you a chance to put your expectations higher for next time and not just look for something to fill in the 'comfortable' filling the house and bed in the morning. it seems that halve the time you were with them and thats how long it TRUELY takes, say you were together 6mths, 3mths single is good. 3 years, 18ths single is good. good luck, maybe instead of walking around the house, do a total spring clean and move the furniture around for a 'visual' fresh start....?

Find someone or something to occupy your time. When you're having fun or have something to do, you forget about the bad things. Don't get hung over the one that is an ex. They are an ex for a reason. Live the single life and then start a search for a new girl.

I've been heartbroken and the best thing you can do is stay VERY BUSY! Go out with friends, read books, clean your house, walk around the mall, go biking, go away for the weekend, meet new people, even if you don't like them, just hang out/go on dates and waste some time until you're truly over her.

Well many people seem to have that problem after awhile once they have broken up.What i suggest you do is go find someone that cares for you as much as you care for them.Sometimes i know it can be hard but you need to try to get over your ex and move on with your life. It's the best advice i can give to you,and theres no need for stressing from lonlyness. You need to find a girl.GOOD LUCK

Go out with your mom if possible maybe food shopping or to the mall to have lunch and pick out some nice linens.Your mom will probably spot the perfect girl for you.I believe the saying every man grows up to marry his own mother.

okay so i cant just say get over it because you cant im sure if you could you would have said the magic words already just try to take your mind off of it find a devoted friend just one dont do the whole groupie thing because that really never works out just find a cool friend dont get right back out into the whole party scene just yet you have to be confident you gotta love yourself before you could love someone else be comfortable with it then dive head first

You shouldnt go try to meet someone until you are over her, or else you are just going to end up trying to replace her. Go out, but just for the sake of getting out. Go catch a movie with a friend.

Sorry about your lose but it's going to take time. I would go out and rebound because if ya'll are going to stay friends she will probably find out and be disappointed but you probably should go out of the house to get your mind off her. HAVE FUN!! Things happen for a reason
