Singles & Dating - 11 October 2006

There is this guy that I really like. He is a hugely flirtacious musician who plays the drums, guitar, base guitar, and keyboard. Girls are always around him, but mostly because he is totally hilarious and SOO flirtacious so he is a lot of fun to be around.
I had a serious conversation with him about our pasts and who we are now along w/ this other guy at a football game almost 2 weeks ago. We haven't talked much except for in studyhall other than that, though. He is truly an AMAZING person. He also writes songs and so do I. I've asked him to hang out a couple times within the past few weeks and both times he said he wasn't sure if he could because of a World History project we have, and I do know that his partner and him aren't very far on theirs so he might be telling the truth.
He is such an amazing person and I am fine being friends with me, it just kind of hurts to want him so badly. How can I get him to like me? Is he nicely saying he doesn't want to hang out?

I just have to know why guys tell you they love you when they don't mean it. I can't believe how people throw that word around like it is no big deal. For example, I was seeing this guy awhile back and he always would tell me he loved me. Of course I believed him because i was an idiot, but then I found out how big of a player he was.

hey guys, my girlfriend of 9 years is mad at me for some reason. she asked a few months ago if I had a myspace, which I didn't at the time. well then my friend set one up for me after that, but i haven't updated it or logged in a long time, almost forgot about it, and I have my profile set to private. Anyway she is mad that I lied, but I don't think I lied and just forgot to tell her about it, because myspace isn't important and I don't keep up with it anyway. What do I do in this situation? she's mad, not talking to me, etc

I'm a bifemale and ive been eye flirting with this bi girl in my class. Its been half a semester already since the flriting has been goin on and I think it finally dawned on me that the girl likes me...Here are some reasons why i think so....she looks at me alot...she giggles when i flirt w/her, she looks at me when i'm not looking she smiled at me when i asked a student if i was in the right class, she smiled at me at the parking lot. ok if that's not enough hints..i dont know what it is... She's one of those girls that "trys" hard to be your friend...and when your not looking she is batting her eyes at your man along with being touchy feely & way to hospitable (heck she even does it when I am looking) What is the best way to deal with a chronic flirt? Do you ignore her, befriend her, or have a "talk" with her. I tried to catch up with this old friend from college, but she had to go out of town before she could get back to me. When she returned, she called and apologized profusely! She seemed nervous while leaving the message and told me twice why she couldn't make it. Here are some lines from the phone message:

me and my ex fiance broke up about 6 months ago and 2 months ago we decided that we would try to make it work and after days of sorting out our problems i thought it would work and at first it was good and now i have to constantly nag him to spend time with me or to even call me back. and now he tells all of his friends that he is single and hes not with me any more because they dont really like me and when we go out with his friends he ignores me and tells me that hes going to act like hes single and not to be "clingy" and now he says that this is punishment for what i did in the past and that if i can still be with him after "i pass his test" it means i truelly love him. i do truelly love him but i love the old him. how can i make this work?
