He can, but why would he want to?

It depends on how she turned you down. If she said she had plans, work, or some other valid reason, ask again. If she flat-out said no, spare yourself the trouble. At maximum, ask a girl out 3 times, but not all in the same week. If she says no all 3 times, give it up and find someone who is interested.

Normally, if I say I flat out no that what I meant. If I become interested in the guy I normally ask the guy out because he already showed his was interested and probably wouldn't ask again.
If I say I am busy I normally kinda interested but the guy just asked at a bad time. (As a female I would want the guy to ask again.)

only 3 times, I asked a girl out for lunch, I got two very clear nos and a possible maybe. I didn't push it. Maybe a maybe turns into a No after a year. She has to ask him I think. Three times is enough to test it then leave the person alone I think.

im a girl and i know what you should do.
1. pretend your over her

2.ask another on a date(only if there the girls friends)

3.act all dreamy to the girls friend so they tell the girl how cool you are.

4.stay with her long anough that she defanetaly told the girl you like about how cool you are.

5.break up with the girl slowly like say sorry but its not working out i want to just be friend mabey later we can get bake together(but you rilly dont).

6.look for clues like the girl you like hanging around you more or sowing off by you or acting different.

7.last but not least ask her on a date one more time and say"i liked your friend but i liked you more i cant get you out of my mined and i want to know if you will go on a date with me" smile and give her some room and then let her think nothing wrong with a late answer.good luck

Well, why not?

It might depend on the reason you were given for her declining the first time, but there's no harm in asking if it's a better time for her, the next time.

If you were declined because of a previous commitment, then you might want to back off. But, if you were declined because of a timing issue, it does no harm to ask once more.

If she clearly has no interest in pursuing meaningful time with you, then I'd seek companionship elsewhere.

Maybe, but he is better off moving on and letting her make a move if she happens to become interested.
