How importance is intelligence? How smart is smart enough? Is there such a thing as to smart?

Suppose you had a guy who loved to keep up with current events. Was very opinionated, and kept asking your opinions on, for example, the Middle East or Africa and all soughts of things.

Would that get annoying? Would you find that charming?

k. so i've asked this question a few times trying to get a veriation of answers but since the last time i asked a few things have happend. so lest's start from the begining...k so there is this boy at skool that i rly like and we used to be really good friends but then some girl found out that i liked him and told him how i felt so slowly he stopped e-mailing/talking to me and then a few yrs later (last summer) he started e-mailing me again...and when skool started he talked to me but that only lasted about 2wks. then it went back down to just e-mailing me and now i barely even get that...i rly like him and i wish he felt the same i try to tell my self that i don't like him and i thought that maybe if i told others i didn't like him anymore and it got to him than maybe he wouldn't feel so akward (if that was the prob.) and he'd talk to me.. now we don't have any classes 2gether do u think that might be part of it? plz..help!!!

He was married for a few years, had a son, then when right into a two year live in relationship - she left. Now he says he can get involved again. He is not the type to play around, he is very sensitive. I don't think he is blowing me off, (I've known him for 5 years now) he says he really does like me... but... Is it right to view the women in my life as prioritized options in terms of being potential partners or girlfriends?

I used to be very ideal and think that there is one person for every other person to fall in love with and be happy with. I no longer believe so. I think it's a matter of finding a good partner and working at the relationship. And i know a lot of good girls.

There is one in particular that i like. But I've asked her out once, she turned me down, and hasn't shown any interest in me. But she still stays my number 1 choice. But I am interested in some of the others. And i know for sure that a couple of them are interested in me.

SHould I pursue one of them despite thinking of them as second options or should I keep pursuing the first girl? If i do pursue the others, am i selling myself short? Am i being fair to them?
