Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

yes, he probably likes you. now, should you ever even consider getting together with him? NO. i know i sound like some old mom here, but honestly i'm 16 and i've been through that kind of relationship too many times. this sounds cliche, but they'll often expect more (sexually) faster, because a) if your dating someone older than society thinks of you as more promiscuous, sexually open and willing, and b) thats what older people do. it'll make you feel more "in", more "popular", and suddenly you'll have ever so much to talk about with friends about your new "relationship". but the maturity differences (as mature as you may be i'm sure you are you haven't been 14 or 15 or 16 or 17 and thats a very big deal) will show up, problems will show up, and it won't work out. i have a couple friends who never date their age, one who was 15 and the guy was 28 (sounds ridicules but very true), but it doesn't work. when the ages are 17 and 21 sometimes it can be okay, if both are extremely mature and know what they want in life, but my advice: it doesn't matter if he likes you or not. its not worth it.

I personally think that a girl who is 13 and a guy who is either 17 or 18 years old is not a good thing. I would be hesitant to see someone that much older....when you are only 13. I would rethink it!

If he's staring at u, he may have some interest. Consider another fact that ur 13 and he's 5 years older. Guys like these may only be looking for sex. Becareful. Try and get someone ur age range!
