I have been dating this woman since last November. She asked me out. I have known her for years. She has a history of abusive relationships. It seemed that we were really starting to get closer--then she seemed to get colder with her affection this past June. I am confused because she likes going out with me (1-2X/wk.) and will talk on the phone with me for an hour or more. I asked her where we are at, and she said she didn't know-but she still wants to be around. I like her, but I just don't know how much of an emotional or time investment I should make. I guess I worry that I will get slammed later or feel like a fool. I wonder what she sees in me. I wonder what the future will hold....Just profoundly confused...

I've had a few dates with a girl and I think she is going to have "the talk" with me this weekend. We were getting on really well then I asked if she wanted to come back to mine, which I think has offended her as she's suddenly become a lot "busier". By the way, she's 29 so I know it's not shyness!

I like this girl but I don't want to apologise or it will make me look soft, and I don't think she would like that either! It was uncharacteristic of me to do it and I'm wondering that if she says it's not working out, what could I say to still appear mature and in control so that we could stay in touch, leading to me seeing her still so she can realise that I do like her and am not just interested in sleeping with her then leaving?

Before going out wit me, my boo was dating this chic and whn they broke up she went away & I thot t'was 4 good bt nw she's coming back nxt month and they'r going 2 b staying together in the same Hostel. Why dont people view questions about say porn, hookers, strippers etc from a single persons pov.Esp when told2.


Most answers I see seem to assume.

Everyone is in a couple as they go along the lines of how would you gf/wife feel, or would you not prefer to be with your gf etc.

or they assume
Girlfriend/boyfriends are easy to get and nobody ever gets rejected.

Like what dont you just get a gf... Well aint so easy for guys...

Also assumeing the girl must be despirate as cant find other work...

How comes it never occurs to folk that maybe they tried other work and the pole dancing pays 10x as much for a lot less work so used the sence of this way no mortage...

To tell him exactly how he makes me feel.We have schooled together and always bump into each other at clubs or socials and now we have become much more than that!We only saw each other twice in 2 and a half months but we communicate a lot over the phone since we dont stay near each other.He says that it seems as though we were made for each other.It is a connection so deep and so mature,he makes me wana be his wife one day.I want to let him know that im falling in love with him but is it too soon?Oh...I forgot to mention that we have not even kissed at yet!

I am an indian. i love a girl who s also indian.
we belong to different castes.
my parents are a bit traditionalist. they are not allowing us to get married.
i am well settled and earning very well.
my parents re hurt and they re not accepting our relation.
i cant go against their will, i cant even think of leaving this girl.
the girl is the best that anyone can get. i have tried my best to explain things to my parents. its 3 days now since i spoke to them about this. but they re stubborn.

Race doesn't matter.......... I'm 100% mexican and my husband is african-american and our son is mixed. so obviously it's not about "shouldn't we all get along ?" type attitude RELAX it's just a simple 6:45 am bored outta my mind curious question.
