my gf found out I cheated on her and after all the tears and stuff like that has been really cool towards me since then. she has started to talk to my ex gf about me which sucks and I am nervouse. my ex broke up with me 2 yrs ago and promised me she would get me back some day. I need to stop my gf from talking to my ex cause nothing good is going to come out of it, any advise?

I just read an online article entitled, "Tips for making chit chat on a first date". A 37 year old woman from Ohio had written in wanting to know what were some good things to talk about on a first date. As it turns out, there was a whole page of responses, and along with each response there was a photo of the person who had posted it. Amazingly, every one of these people were very attractive people. There wasn't an average or below average looking person in the group. So, what that does that tell you? It tells me that unless you're a good looking man or a beautiful woman, your chances of making a good first impression are slim and none. And you know what they say about "a good first impression". Also, it tells me that we, as a society, are obssesed with the outer appearance of others and care little about what's inside another person's heart. Just look at the magazines in the stores and you'll see what I'm talking about. Agree or disagree?

I saw this cute guy on a on-line dating site, and contacted him , he liked my profile and responded, we briefly chatted, but he requested a photo of me, before we have deep conversation. I sent him one photo of myself. The photo is clear, but kind've a side-view shot, although some of the front of my face shows. After I sent him the picture, I talked to him once he said that I was pretty and that he was interested, but he needed to see more pictures of me. That was the last time I talked to him. I haven't sent him anymore pictures, because I don't really have any cute ones to send to him. He has not contacted me. What is he thinking? Does he think the picture I sent him wasn't me or maybe I am not as pretty as I am claiming to be. Help!

It happens most of the time I meet someone in person. They are nice, they show interest, they even provide a phone number. Next day I call them and they answer. Next day, they ignore my calls. I have been going out with my boyfriend for over a year and he still doesn't "want" to "do" anything with me(if you know what I mean). Thought that would grab your attention,went out with this girl once and things went really well(obviously)and since then we have only talked a couple of times,but i always intiate the contact not to much a text hear and their every once and a while a phone call.Now we talked the other night 4 like 2 hours and she said she's going throught some personal problems and wants 2 get together when she takes care of them.The thing that is really bothering me is I work 10-12 hours a day but i take 5 mins out of my day to say good morning or hello and wish her well,she does'nt do any of this it's always me who makes the first contact.I mean i take time out of my day to say hello why can't she do the same?My question is do i expect to much?She's 24 and i'm 32...
