well he sounds like a tit! He is obviously insecure about his height and doesn't like the fact you are taller than him - because you are ONLY a woman!!! it should not be allowed!!! ( i hope you realise i am being melodramatic!) why like a guy who behaves like that... and assumes you are asking him what type of woman he likes because he thinks you like him. Well he is a prick! but at the same time, now you have sort of got your answer, to be blunt ( honesty is the best policy and i feel bad for saying it because i know how much we want those we like to like us back) but i think he isn't interested so leave him be for a while, and if he is interested well then he will come chasing after you...( in his 6" heels!) men can be awkward f'ckers!!!! good luck xxx

He already told you in his own way that he isn't interested. Better just to stay friends with him for now. Being tall is great! Look at Paris Hilton! or some of the models. Just be yourself and focus on someone who likes you for you.

I'm taller that most of the guys I've dated. They did not seem to mind. Your guy just has a preference. Although come to think of it one of my boyfriends had a problem with me being taller than him, I'm 5'9 and he's 5'7 but I told him it's just more of me to love (I'm slim by the way). I also used my smooth personality, it worked for me.
