Singles & Dating - 15 August 2006

This is too long to go into details, but here's the gist of it. Four years, 1 son together (3 yrs old), and 4 of my own prior to him. He has his own life and his own independence, I don't smother him at all. I pay more than half of the bills in the house. I take care of myself, look more than adequate for a mother of 5 and do all I can to fulfill his needs. I've dealt with his hobby away from home that has taken money from here, which is why I took a job (I also wanted to work, but after the youngest was in school). He just says he's not happy right now. I'm not all that happy either, but I thought families worked through tough times, not jumped ship. Do I bother trying to get him to stay (I want him to), or do I just throw in the towel and let it rest in the hands of fate? If he goes, I can't let him back in again, fate can take a flying leap. My children have to come first and revolving doors isn't what they need, all the more reason to stick it out, right? Any advice is appreciated!

Okay. I'm gay. My boyfriend has high morals. I did things in my past (sex, drugs, rock-n-roll) and he can't get past them. He judges me and makes me feel bad for things I've already punished myself for. He even dumped me out of the blue once because I said I wanted a small tattoo. (Of course he came begging to come back) He doesn't have a job. He's lazy. No car.
So.... why the hell can't I seem to let him go?!?!

Ok to give you a lil more info to make the answer to the question a lil more personal........

On the 22nd of September it’s going to be me and my boyfriend's 3yr. anniversary and I have decided that I would like to get him a ring with an Infinity symbol on it. Also I want to get it engraved on the inside but im not quite sure what to engraved. I was thinking something a long the lines of..........

I've been going out with someone for about 10 months, but feel like I give more to him than I get back. Since I'm recently separated, he suggested that I should date some more guys (since he was the only one since my long marriage) When I did meet someone very sweet and attentive, he became very emotional and didn't want to end it, but has a hard time expressing his feelings for me because of a hurtful relationship in his past which caused him to run when he has strong feelings for someone. What should I do? I almost feel like I must leave him at least for now for him to find himself and decide what he wants from me. Thanks for listening!

My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year and half almost. I graduated from college in December and he has a couple years yet because he is getting his masters degree. I see him during the summer alot because we live near eachother. During the school year I try to go up once or twice a month. He is 3 hours away.

Is there anything special I should do for him when I see him, or anything I can do for him while we are away from eachother? I miss him terribly and I want to think of something special I can send him or something I can do for him to help us both because the distance is hard.

wel in december a guy asked me out n i had to say no bcoz of my brother and he was aright with it

I feel that I am more comfortable with this guy than my boyfriend.........What should I do?
