I've been going out with someone for about 10 months, but feel like I give more to him than I get back. Since I'm recently separated, he suggested that I should date some more guys (since he was the only one since my long marriage) When I did meet someone very sweet and attentive, he became very emotional and didn't want to end it, but has a hard time expressing his feelings for me because of a hurtful relationship in his past which caused him to run when he has strong feelings for someone. What should I do? I almost feel like I must leave him at least for now for him to find himself and decide what he wants from me. Thanks for listening!

no, the person I was dating for a while was the one who became emotional when I started dating someone else. I just wonder if I should move on and forget about my old boyfriend since it seems like he has a hard time expressing his feelings for me. Thanks.

None of those guys seem to be on the same page with you. The first guy was encouraging you to meet new people, so what is his point? Does he want to be with you or not?. On the other hand, the second guy seems to be emotionally unstable and I don't think that is what you need from your couple.
Given that you are recently separated, I believe you should be dating more guys until the right one appears. None of those two seem to be a good idea for a serious relationship.
