My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year and half almost. I graduated from college in December and he has a couple years yet because he is getting his masters degree. I see him during the summer alot because we live near eachother. During the school year I try to go up once or twice a month. He is 3 hours away.
Is there anything special I should do for him when I see him, or anything I can do for him while we are away from eachother? I miss him terribly and I want to think of something special I can send him or something I can do for him to help us both because the distance is hard.

Just for some info, I have considered moving up to where he is, but my job is here and we live near eachother while he is home. So either way we would still be 3 hours apart. And there are hardly no jobs up where he is.(It is kind of a desolate area). Plus we are planning on moving out of state for a bit after we get married when he graduates.
But good suggestions! They have ran through my mind.

Set up some kind of a special dinner at your house and have him come there. Have candles and music and make the place look pretty. The setting will make both of you have fun and seeing eachother in somewhere special like that could be something to look back on when you start to be together more often.

Do things that will show him that you are thinking of him while he's away. Discover a new recepie that you can make for him. Write a poem for him, or do a painting for him. Learn how to play some song for him. They should all be things that he knows were not just bought or done on a whim when he announced he was coming.

Even though it is kind of out dated it would be really special to send him letters from you. Yes snail mail letters. Put your favorite perfume on when you write them. He'll smell you when he opens the envelope. If you don't have a signature perfume I recommend and oil called Egyptian Goddess. I get it at my local Karma store. It is a music store. It is a great perfume oil. It is so alluring. Smell is one of the best ways to remind someone of you.
