My best friend gave me a gift for Christmas, a purse, and I want to give her something in return. She likes the color blue, likes the violin (because she plays it), likes clothes, and stuff like that. I'm thinking of getting her a gift card..but I think that's too simple. Any suggestions?

My friend's mom is always putting down my friend. She says things like "your ugly" "i wish i never had you" "you are so annoying" Belive me, she DID IT IN FRONT OF ME. Is there anything I can do to help?

I went to a clothing optional beach with three friends. All whom I am wondering are my ex friends now. The three friends were white and I am Black. I am not shy by nature so when we got to the beach (Haulover Beach, Miami, FL) I stripped naked. The three girls (we are all 18 and freshman in college) decided to keep their bikinis on. I mean the first few minutes were akward being nude in front of them but then it seemed ok and then started talking and we eventually walked the shore, I was still nude and these three ex friends in their bikinis. One of the girls Kristin said " I look like a little monkey ape walking around naked " and later in the day my friend Courtney said " Your a dirty BOY going nude today ".

These girls havent ever ever remotely said anything racial to me EVER. Was this just me being made fun of cause I was totally nude and they were not? Or was there more to it? Am I over thinking this?

Ok,I have this person in my family who is very abusive towards his 5 year old and the mother doesn't even say anything about it. Not only is he phyically abusing the kid but he's always yelling at him,calling him names and things.And he gives him spanking for things that are unessacery.I've seen him yelling at the kid so many times its sad.I tried to talk to the mother about it and we ended up getting into a big argument and she doesn't like me anymore,which I really don't care.Our concern is for my little cousin.Should I just report these two idiots to child services?
