I have a fab partner and wonderful daughter and my ultimate part time job with fantastic colleagues. I do not really have any friends. I lost touch with most of them and can't get out often without my daughter. I wanted to make new friends online.

Back in 2001/2002, I had a friend named Melissa Hemmelgarn, who at the time lived in Lloydminster, SK. (Saskatchewan), and I talked to her regularly, online and otherwise.

Well, we had a falling out in 2002 and I hadn't talked to her since. I felt bad about it and thought about her recently, but all the old contacts I had for her don't work anymore and she's, basically, disappeared.

I still have her old address and number and her dad's name (Robert).

I've tried EVERYTHING to find her, but I can't seem to find any good detective sites (other than netdetective, which doesn't cover canada) or other such places that could help.

Any ideas? I would really like to find her. If you happen to know her, point her in my direction, she might remember my yahoo! name.

We lost touch when he was in a relationship with a controlling woman and i just backed of ,then i moved and lost his phone number soon after. anyway, my son has cancer and it would be nice to have an old and dear friend to talk with if he can be found for free so much the better as all my income goes to medical bills for my son.

I am 18, good looking and ambitious. I know some people but i can't consider any of them as a friend but i really want to get close to them.
I have kind of trouble meeting new people but i sometimes manage to get over it.
Am always feeling lonely and feeling that nobody cares about me or loves me even if they say they do.
Can anybody help me to get over this and give me some advice?

All im asking is real friends are existed?! I don’t think so! Cause every time I feel like I know somebody ,maybe after years, something happens and I really feel disappointed ‘n I feel like “what the hell was that!?!?”. they turn into very selfish people ‘n they act like “what on earth makes you think that you are more important than me!?”.
I believe real friends are those who you can ask them help you
Or real friends don’t lie to you !!
Or they don’t use you for showing themselves as a better person!
Or they become happy when you succeed!
I just need ONE FRIEND that I can trust, I can talk to…

this guy met me via net...we mailed,chatted..even for three long hours...then we decided to talk on the phone...well
that was quite unfortunate for me...my parents recieved the phone,and as i have always been telling them that I have only got to the net for studying…but I made friends with him and now they came to know that I have e-friends as well…I was very ashamed

..he phoned me three times but I cudnt meet him,…now when I did,…my mum n dad were angry with me..n said I was making a fool outta myself,…all conversations of mine have been stopped….i dunno why?
Any ideas how I might be able to contact him and speak to him again? I mean I can always mail n chat but now even that too has been stopped for me. my parents were angry with me bout what I used the net for…is this justified? Cant I speak to him? I cant meet him as we both live in two diffrnt districs…my mum cut up the phone when I was speaking to him n I cudnt even say…good bye..that was too bad!i really am feeling I did

I m a skool gal...yesterday in a skool party....I have met one of my old friend (let A)who has changed the skool in previus session but is my very good friend...we are connected by phone and net...but i have met him yesterday after 6-7 months....and i have got another very good friend (let B), who is better friend than A this session. both of them had came late in the party and when i meet both i have given lil more importance to B than A.I was meeting after a long interval to A whereas i meet B daily. I have this friend and we have been GOOD friends since first grade and she began to be friends with this other girl and we were cool but she started drama and im not going to take that but every chance she gets she tries to take my friend away from me [it was like that even when we were cool] and i dont know because we used to be best friends and i dont know if i should take it or fight back or just make new friends as i say my friend knows that shes ditching me and being mean but i dont know what to do? be mean to both of them and make new friends? i feel like ill regret being pathetic by trying to win her back and id regret throwing away our friendship thats been soo long. the only thing is i know im not talking about it with her. she already knows so its pointless. any advice?
