i think he did the right thing , he was honest with you.
i know it hurts but later you will understand that it was the best.....

Because he is your best friend, he probably sensed that you were developing romantic feelings for him. This is his gentle way of telling you that he values you as a person, but has no romantic feelings toward you. He seems like a geniunely good person.

see he was just being nice to you....bu not hurting your feelings after some days when the situation is much deeper into...
what he did was right...may be you were giving him such hints that you wanted to be in a relationship...and so on...
now just be calm and causauly talk to him...

May be he really care about you.... He knows what type he is.... so u should change your mind... just try something else... i know when you fell for someone its difficult to think about anything else.... but just try something else... like doing something you like most (playing a game or so)............. try it out...
