Friends - October 2006

He has been in a coma for a few days now. I am going to see his family this evening. I want to get him something for when he wakes up. Do you guys have any super sweet ideas for a guy who is in a coma in the hospital? He a great sense of humor, etc. so any ideas will be helpful.

other than chinese faced people, asians look like spanish people too. what things american girls dont like about such asian guys.

when i try to talk to amrican girls but they don't show no interest , they like ignore me ( even in my school ) and they act like they are scared with me, what makes them feel like that.? i also don't have the better body and good looking, is that the reason too. or its just a racial thing.

and hang out with my toddler son. Her son is 6 and really destructive by the way. I have given her excuse after excuse as to why I don't want to hang out with her son (I want a ladies day out, etc.) when the real reason is I do not like how he acts. I do not want him anywhere near my son or my possessions. I don't want to offend her but then again I really don't want him over at my place! How can I get her to drop this stupid idea?

I like this gal colleague a lot, we were sitting in the same office then, but after I moved out from that office, she turned quite coldly towards me, plus we have lesser topics to talk about, our friendship drifted

my other friend told me, she might be the type that's not interested in engaging a friendship with those she sees that aren't going to be related to her in work. In my case, I've moved out, so the link is somehow broken.

Our characters are very different, she's kinda sporty and me not as outgoing as she is, she might have her flaws for acting coldly to me(actually till today I don't know if that's her character flaws or something else), still, I treasure our friendship very much, other than confronting her face to face, is there any way I can win her friendship back?

I haven’t had a really friend since about 5th grade. I’ve had acquaintances, people I will talk to here and there. Say hello, ask how your day was going and etc. But I haven’t had any really friends, someone I can just talk to or share what’s on my mind. And I sort of tired of it. Always going to the movies by myself, and eating alone. It gets tiring after awhile. I’m also in my 2nd yr of college. I think I may have missed out on the “friendship thing” that freshmen make, because I didn’t make any strong bonds with anyone. What can I do to change the predicament I’m in? I’m also an introvert which doesn’t help me in my friend department.

How do I make friends, it seems as if I’ve forgotten how. How do I get myself interested in what others are interested in? How do I make new friendships that will last? What advice can you give that can help me out?

I know I sound pathetic, but I haven't had friends over to my house since I was kid. Now my friends have invited themselves over for my b'day and I really don't want them to come! I just feel like my house, family etc won't measure up to theirs and that they'd have a rubbish time at my house and judge me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some insociable loner, it's just that having someone over to my house is a bit of a step into my personal space for me. I can't exactly tell them not to come cos I'm too embarrassed... so what should I do?
