I like this gal colleague a lot, we were sitting in the same office then, but after I moved out from that office, she turned quite coldly towards me, plus we have lesser topics to talk about, our friendship drifted
my other friend told me, she might be the type that's not interested in engaging a friendship with those she sees that aren't going to be related to her in work. In my case, I've moved out, so the link is somehow broken.
Our characters are very different, she's kinda sporty and me not as outgoing as she is, she might have her flaws for acting coldly to me(actually till today I don't know if that's her character flaws or something else), still, I treasure our friendship very much, other than confronting her face to face, is there any way I can win her friendship back?

I feel that it is nature that we don't really speak to people more often than those whom we meet daily.
You just need to drop a call time to time to keep your friendship holding.

You should be brave and talk to her. Set up time for a coffee or lunch and let her know that her friendship means something to you. I wouldn't rely on your other friend's speculation but talk to her directly. There are many types of friendships and she may be okay with one that has less contact and communication whereas you want more contact. The only way to find out is to talk to her. Perhaps what you perceive as coldness could be she's been busy and stressed at work. So bite the bullet and talk. Let her know her friendship means something to you.

Some people only treat office staff as colleague! Some do so purely to protect their jobs, they do not think friendship should exist in an office. The higher you sit on the organisation chart, life becomes more lonely.
Perhaps, this colleague of yours is such a person. However, you should check it out subtly and respect her decision.
