Last night on Comedy Central, I was watching a show featuring comedian Larry The Cable Guy. I have seen him before and there is no doubt, he can fill a place and make everyone laugh, me included. Most of his humor has to do with toilet "poop" references, jokes or comments about his family and sex. Now if you took away the toilet and sex humor, would Larry's brand of humor survive? Who knows, but his timing and keeping the show going is an act in itself.

It seems that Larry's whole persona is a put on, including his deep "redneck" southern accent and his sleeveless shirts and jeans. I did a bit of research on him and his Cable Guy routine is all an act, not really him being his real self. Doesn't surprise me, he seems to have a formula for his success as a comedian.

If you have seen him, you know what I mean, I'm sure.

What is your opinion about Larry The Cable Guy's brand of humor?

Okay so I am writing a paper with this question as the topic:

Is there a fine line between what is controversial and what is just some truth that people don't want to hear?
(particularly in the field of comedy)

so do you guys know any examples of comedic material that is true yet simultaneously considered controversial?

It is called ''La vie devant nous''. It is French teen show. The thing I wanted to know is if you know what is the name of the song that is sung in the begining.

So I come home from a party last night, flip on the tube, and some wrestling non-sense was on instead of Saturday Night Live. Now I know the writing has gone down a little on SNL, but NBC wouldn't seriously pull one of the longest running shows in history would they? Is this just a summer thing? Did some sort of sporting event run long and I just didn't stay up late enough?

My favorite episode is either the one where Monk takes care of the foster child for a few days, the one where Monk gets jury duty, or the two where Randy quit.

My favorite character is Randy, caus' he rocks, and Jason-Gray Stanford is awesome too!
