I think shows on programs like 'The History Channel", "Discovery Channel' or documentaries have. But as far as sitcoms and other shows, they are much worse than they used to be. Too much violence or sexual scenes to lure viewers. Not good for children, obviously.

on a whole yes. but the best ones seem to be on pay channels, such as the riches, big love, the closer, sopranos...
I loved close to home and some others on the main television stations. however, there is a chance that shows like that get (and are) canceled. I am not into lost for I got lost watching it...and I love desparate housefraus but again missed a few episodes and later caught up...I am also a soap fan and I guess because I grew up with them, I enjoy them a lot. I miss the older shows, such as game shows.

I certainly have faith television is offering the worst programming in many years. With all of those actuality exhibits coupled via the making a music/dancing/skating competitions, there is little or no mind's eye left. i will count selection the form of community exhibits I watch weekly on one hand: The workplace, My call is Earl, The Simpsons, family individuals guy and American Dad. My widespread prepare isn't even on community television - South Park. i've got been watching extra activities and flicks then I ever have as a results of loss of excellent exhibits. it relatively is relatively unhappy.

I don't think they've improved at all. Well maybe some of the actors have improved but the shows that are aired have not. I think they are running out of ideas, because most of the programs that are on; you can find ten more just like it on other channels. None of them are original or creative.
