I just hate how they dont make tv like they used to. now all we get is all this crap about alcohol and sex. (although some shows with that in it can be good) But still i really miss it!

I know I do, that was one of CBS 's better shows. It's a blumin' shame you don't see good comedy like that anymore.

I loved Gilligan's Island, although I did hate the Skipper with a passion. He was always on poor gilligan's back. And I remember thinking that Maryanne was very pretty, although everyone was always raving about Ginger. Ginger was a little too obvious with her gold lame dresses. I thought Mary Anne was so much cuter with her short shorts. And the professor was kind of cute...I was always hoping he would hook up with Maryanne. And do you remember the reunion episode where they all returned to the island after being rescued.

I remember watching that show after I came home from school while doing my homework. Yes, I missed it too. Would would also watch The Brady Bunch, What's Happening, Different Strokes, and Three's Company. (Kids, We love TV)
I know some times they play these old show on Nick at Night on Cable. It's a nostalgic feeling everytime I see these shows again.

I remember it too, one of my favorite shows. Another show I liked was McHales Navy. I sometimes think on some of those shows and wonder what ever happened to the actors.

Here I will tell you of a coincidence. I was watch a rerun of Gunsmoke one day, I knew James Arness had passed away, but it had been quite awhile since I had seen or heard anything about his brother Peter Graves from Mission Impossible. Not a month later I see him doing his bit on a Geico commercial. Still kicking and able to deliver one of the funniest punch lines I have heard lately.
No the humor and music from those days, I think was much better.

you're probable remembering "Gilligan's Island" different than it exchange right into a comedy show, and there have been no conflicts with natives. actually, there have been no natives, different than on possibly a million or 2 episodes, and that they have got been by no capacity confrontational. they only ended the 0.5 hour skit, and that they have got been long gone from the island.

That's why there's the TV LAND . I love reliving my childhood tv shows. Between this and Nick @ Nite I can get quite a few of them. Gilligan's Island is not one of them though. But they change programing alot so hopefully it will be aired in the future. Nanu Nanu

They don't make tv that way anymore. Too bad, now we get more crap then anything else. I still love watching this show when I can find in on tv.

It's not on here right now but Gilligans Island has never really gone off the air. It is always on somewhere.

I used to watch that all the time. You can see a few episodes for free on AOL.com including the unaired pilot that had a different professor and the two girls weren't a farm girl and a movie star.
