In case you didn't hear, LOST is going to run for three more seasons and then end at the end of the Spring 2010 season. Instead of 24-episode seasons, they will be 16 episodes each, and they will run nonstop from February to May (like the second half of this season has been).
So do you think this is good news or bad news? I, for one, really love the nonstop season idea on LOST and on 24, so I'm calling that good news. 16 episodes instead of 24? That's bad news. I feel like we've just been robbed of 8 hours of LOST every year.
And the most significant news, that it's ending in 2010? I think that's good. By then we will have 6 seasons total, and that's really a huge story. I don't blame them for wanting to end it on their own terms. It's much better to end a show solidly than to let it run on forever. Wouldn't it have been better if The X-Files had ended after 6 seasons?
