Have you ever cried watching a commercial?

...Or ever got teary eyed? I do every time I see that ASPCA commercial with the Sarah McLachlan song playing. Its so sad, those poor animals :(

There was a long distance commercial out a few years ago that made be cry every time I saw it.

There was this one commercial for a credit card which started with this young couple in love, then it showed them much older (in their late 50s, maybe) and flipped through a picture album of their wedding, the birth of their first child, the family with two young children, the children growing up, one child's high school graduation, etc. I didn't cry but I came close because it's such a bittersweet moment-- it's sad because all of the great milestones in life which people look forward to have already passed them by and all they have left is retirement and death, but it's sweet because they lived such fulfilling, happy lives. Mainly it makes me sad though because I never want to get old (even though I know I will).

yeah, actually that one commercial about domestic abuse where there is a little boy, and he's sitting on the stairs while his parents are arguing. They start to yell, and then you hear a loud smacking noise of the father hitting the mother, and you see the boy jerks up and looks all scared. that's a really sad commercial. i have to admit, i cried once when i saw it...

I always start to cry when I see the commercials for fighting cancer....when the people are like I'm ready to fight my cancer. so many people in my family have had or died from cancer it just makes me sad.
