My absolute favorite would have to Prison Break. When an episode is done, you feel like you have just run a marathon. Man, that show gets your adrenaline pumpin'!!! It has action, drama, romance, a bit of dark humor. It has everything you need in a show. Just look at it this way: if you want a show that makes you feel like you have had two liters of Sprite and three pots of coffee, this show is the one for you.
Others that are like are Bones, One Tree Hill, House, and Law and Order: SVU.
