He was first on St. Elsewhere. He appeared on Moonlighting, Chicago Hope, West Wing, NCIS. He was also in the made for TV movie where he played Ted Bundy in The Deliberate Stranger.
He's also been in a ton of movies including Freaky Friday, (the new version)

He portrayed doctors in two previous series, Dr. Jack McNeil on Chicago Hope and Dr. Bobby Caldwell on St. Elsewhere. Harmon also had a limited engagement on Moonlighting. He also played Morgan Fairchild's unfaithful husband on Flamingo Road.

I love his character in NCIS and would love to know what he brought Abby for her birthday it glowed! lol
