I know this has been asked before, and not a lot of people responded, but say you were wealthy...
would you feel the need to spread it around a little or not?
Would you become like most people who have a lot of money, and be afraid to turn loose of any of it? Would you only think of "you and yours"? I know a lot of people would come out of the woodwork, and you couldn't give to everyone, but in my case, I think I'd take $ 10,000 here and there, and have a drawing for people that were down on their luck and were nominated for the drawing, or just pick an unsuspecting person that looked like they could use it (like me..LOL) and just blow them away with a no-strings-attached gift.

Be honest here. I want to see all sides.

How do you feel about guns? Would your opinion change if something happened and you felt you needed one?

I ask because recently there have been several rapes in my area, about 1 every other day... I have a few guns, and if this rapist were to break into my house, it'll be his last, that's for damn sure.

Thing is, when I tell people that I have guns (never mind the fact that I have been trained how to use them safely since I was 9) I get the whole "gun control" speech, and I get told how irresponsible I am for having guns in a home with children.

My stepkids are both old enough to know how to use a gun, and both smart enough not to do anything stupid with them. So am I really wrong from wanting to protect them and myself ?
