I know this has been asked before, and not a lot of people responded, but say you were wealthy...
would you feel the need to spread it around a little or not?
Would you become like most people who have a lot of money, and be afraid to turn loose of any of it? Would you only think of "you and yours"? I know a lot of people would come out of the woodwork, and you couldn't give to everyone, but in my case, I think I'd take $ 10,000 here and there, and have a drawing for people that were down on their luck and were nominated for the drawing, or just pick an unsuspecting person that looked like they could use it (like me..LOL) and just blow them away with a no-strings-attached gift.

Be honest here. I want to see all sides.

Its too easy to was "I would" so that you can appear like a nice person. The thing is people already have $1, $5, $10, $100, $1,000 that they could give to others, but all they do is keep it for themselves.

I think a better questions is what do you do NOW to give to others.

I have answered a similar question in the past on here that asked if money was no object how would you spend it & thought about it overnight as this was & still is my answer......
Firstly I would make sure I would share my good fortune with my family, not just my Hubby & Children but Mum, Dad, Aunties & Uncles etc, then I would look into local school projects that would benefit Children & the local community & would donate to that, little known help groups locally that dont pay out huge administration fees & donate to those, the local 'Darby & Joan club' (for OAPS) & donate some money for people in need via their local group...you know the sort of thing...the sort of oaps who need a new cooker or bed but would never dream of asking, perhaps donate towards a mini bus for outings for them...
It would be nice to volunteer for things like helping out at Christmas for the homeless etc & be able to give money where it would really make a difference...some people are homeless through no fault of their own & a little place to call home would make such a real difference & wouldn't it be nice to see for yourself exactly where each & every penny is spent & the rewards for people who would really appreciate your help?

I definantly would help. Ever since I was a lil girl I have always helped those people like that. My Dad would give me a lot of money every week (like $20) because he didn't live with us. I would notice kids in my school that didn't have certain things and I would befriend them and use my allowance from my Dad to buy them small lil gifts like socks, or even a cheap pair of shoes from payless

I would be trying to help people anonymously. Sometimes the people who need and deserve the help the most, are too proud to ask for it.

I would make sure all my families basic needs were covered for the rest of our lives (food, shelter, transportation... play money, etc.), then I would be spreading around anywhere I felt it would be good to spread it.

I would pay it forward, but not without some careful considerations of what it would entail.
