I live in Phoenix, and today for the first day a hint of autumn is in the air. What a relief! What state or country do you live in? And does it seem like autumn has arrived in your area?

I live in Upstate New York & Fall has definitely arrived. I've heard a few flock of geese heading South; I smelled my first firewood in the air last night; trees are slowly turning shades of red & yellow; the temperature has dropped by about 20 degrees; apples & apple cider are being sold in the stores (along with Halloween candy!); & I switched over my satin sheets for flannel!
Fall is my most favorite season. The smells (woodsmoke); the tastes of apples & cider & hot cocoa & pumpkin & apple pies; the sight of trees changing color; the sound of leaves crunching under my feet; the feel of crisp air against my cheek; what is there NOT to love about Autumn?!

Here in central Ohio it's been mostly hotter than usual and drier than usual. They're saying the central and southern apple harvests will be small this year due to late Spring frosts. We've finally had a break in our heat wave and it's been especially cool for the past week. It does make for better football weather; but we haven't yet had our first Autumn frost. Return to seasonable temps with highs in the low to mid 80s is predicted for the next five days. Just a hint of Autumn in the air; but a break for our air cons and ou electric bills! It should be a good Fri night for high school football and Sat. afternoon for the Buckeye's Big Ten opener against Northwestern in the 'shoe - GO BUCKS!!!!!

Hey JT!! You know where I live (Florida) and the only hint that Autumn is in the air is the Christmas catalogs that are arriving daily in the mail box. Still going in the pool every day and enduring hot & steamy with scattered mosquitoes at night. Maybe in December I'll see a difference.

My son and his family live in Mesa! It has been horribly hot there...........the heat has broken all records for your area as I understand. Some cooling down should feel mighty good to you right now. I live in New York State, western part, and our temps. too are cooling down.....and there is a haze in the air that comes each autumn. The leaves are just starting to turn color, and will be at their peak in about three weeks. Folks are beginning to put out their pumpkins and corn stalks and other fall decorations. Cheers!!

I live in Asheville, North Carolina. The weather her has been very unpredictable. We had a drought for a month or two, and then some heavy rain. Now it is freezing in the mornings, and quite hot by lunchtime or early afternoon, also quite breezy. I wore a long sleeve today, and then had to change to make myself comfortable. I love autumn though. I am so happy it is finally here!

Doesn't appear to be Autumn around here Yet! Sun is shining most every day, and Kids Hitting the Pool as soon as they get in from school. A/C still going full-blast.
Getting a good Rain storm occasionally Here in Tampa Bay Area. " NEVER A GOOD HAIR DAY THO, that's for sure." (smile)

Although the leaves haven't started to change colour yet, the air is getting somewhat nippy so yes, it's starting to feel like autumn...

Yep. I live in Chicago. Been autumn for a while now - windy city n all. I love Fall! The air is crisp and it somehow lends to my motivation (Good thing, I need a good kick in the a@@)

In the southwest Mo Ozark Mountains we are having cooler nights and some of the leaves are starting to change color and fall from the trees. At times there is a definate nip in the air especially in the early mornings.
