This guy named elliot likes me. & he'll pull my hair & make fun of me every time he gets a chance. but when were standing up (ANYWHERE) he'll just push me 2 the ground, so naturally i would jst get up, but then he does it again & again etc.etc. & him & his friends think it's so funny! but like they ditch class most of the time so he'll keep on doing it, causing me 2 ditch class 2. & he's like twice my size, in height. he's the tallest in my grade & he's a football player so he's big but not really. So me trying to take down him is imposible!! so he'll keep on doing it 4 like a whole day if he wanted 2. Him & his friends think it's so funny! they'll just laugh everytime i try! & if i stay down...well lets just say i'm NEVER doing that again!! Plz help!! he does it everyday & i cant stop him. HELP PLZ!!!

this is the follow up to my first question. i got many answers but many of them seemed to miss the mark . Some people argued that one of the major reasons for this antagonistic attitude toward rap was it's violence, but that dosen't compute. This is the same society in which the Sopranos (a show about italian Drug-dealers and pimps) is a top rated series and in which VIOLENT movies like Saw and Hostel are box office hits. You can't tell me this is an anti-violent culture. Second, these fans seem to judge rap by what is in the mainstream but the rock/metal purists are the very first to lead you to some lesser known underground bands that they hold as their favorite. Yet when it comes to rap everything becomes about what is on the radio. Finally, people don't seem to realize that melody does not define music. Melody is only one of the three theoretical aspects of music. Rhythm is another. Consequently those that say rap is not music are technically incorrect...it is indeed music.

i'm undecided on this
my arguement is that in a contained environment like a zoo or wildlife park the animals are given substantial amounts of food, clean water, decent weather conditions, medical assistance and are no longer under threat by predators. this will give them a more comfortable, probably longer life.

on the other hand it's obviously not fair to pluck animals out of the wild for visitors to gawk at, and to enclose them in a small environment is very unfair. animals should be allowed to run free through endless land, not feel trapped.

i guess perhaps it depends on the individual zoo and the workers attitudes towards the animals which will reflect how they treat them.

i'd just like to know what you all think about this.
