Many times. Don't dwell on it: bring books, iPod, snacks, etc.
The seating is a little close- I'm big, but only certified waifs are comfortable in airplane seats.
Of course, you can practically see the germs.
Look at it this way: it'll make for great stories later.
I got seated next to a guy whose hygiene was obviously bad. The whole flight (as I read and listened to my iPod) I watched him out of the corner of my eye as he spent hours picking his nose and wiping it on his jeans.
I've never been so revolted.
But flying's fine.

I've been flying since I was 7 and I used to love every minute of being in a plane.

But as I grow older, especially in these times of troubles and plane crashes, I've become a touch paranoid.

I was in Bali last year, and no disrespect to the airline, Garuda, but I felt as if the plane was going to fall apart and crumble!

I've had a lot of good experiences and one bad, where the engine kept cutting out and it had everyone on edge. The plane went in to maintence when we landed and it was supposed to continue on to florida so that was my one scary experience, but all the others have been good. Pray about it first and during. You'll be fine.

I have. 4 planes to get to the final destination.
It was a first time experience, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. The worst part is feeling the plane land, and you can barely feel it take off. You also can't feel the plane moving in the sky unless there's a little turbulence. It feels as if you're driving very smoothly in a car - as if it's sitting in one spot.

Flying is one of my fave things to do! I have flow many times and I love it ever time! Especially take off! That feeling is great, and a plane ride is not complete without turbulence! With turbulence you at least have the feeling that you are moving! Sort of like a mother rocking the baby's cradle, lol! Yeah, all in all, I love flying! :)

OH MY LORD....I took a flight from windsor ontario to edmonton alberta...and the WHOLE trip was turbulance, the ******* plane kept tilting from side to side, it blacked out and the flight was like 8 hrs long.
Scary but fun at the same time.

I've flown six times, and it wasn't bad. The worst part is being stuck in a seat that is too narrow. I'm not fat, my hipbones were rubbing.

The ride can be bumpy, but it is a whole lot less bumpy than driving.

It's pretty neat. The only thing, if you fly, make sure you don't have a cold or head congestion, because it can make your ears hurt like mad. If you get the chance to fly, take it. It's really safer than driving your car to the corner market.

I do and as far as I am concerned it's something that I always look forward to especially if I will have the window seat. To me, it's kind of a humbling experience as well to see that when you're so far up everything looks so small, kind of also how we should look at our problems.

A few times. My freaking ears kept plugging up and this old Korean lady stuck her foot right through the side of my seat. Me and my brother kept pocking it with ball-point pens
