Heh, I suppose I have had a rather boring life compared to these others, but I would have to say the coolest thing I have ever done is go to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl to march in the field at half time a few years ago. That was WAY before Katrina. It was a BLAST! I am a HUGE Anne Rice fan, so to actually WALK down the French Quarter, and drive by the Garden District, and learn about the old Civil war statues, and Cemetaries. It was an AWESOME trip. Not to mention that I am a HUGE Carolina Panthers fan, and they were playing the Saints the VERY day I arrived, and WON! I stayed in the Hyatt Regency Superdome hotel too!!! Best experience of my life!!!

Being part of a National/World Champion baton corps...getting to travel, march in parades, compete, meet new people, and we were in the movie "The Fugitive." (the Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade scene :) ) Granted the scene was only a few seconds, it was still awesome!

When I was young & wild....spent the nite at The Mission Inn (very nice hotel)...with the band I loved (called Redbone)...they sang that song "Come And Get Your Love"...in 1970....it was my girlfriend and me...partying it up with this band....that was so exciting...I get excited just thinking about it....
