The today show already is showing Christmas trees and playing carols and acting like its mid-winter. Must have been the tickle-elmo craze that got everyone in the mood

I am paraphrasing the great Percy Sledge during the summer of 1966.

I would have to disagree, as during sexual intercourse with my wife I routinely think about our next door neighbour Brenda and her border collie.

Does anyone else agree with Percy Sledge or not?

(This question has been prompted by my dozy friend who is sick at the moment and to alleivate her boredom decided to force her finger into a child's toy, then she had to use a half bar of soap to free herself and the toy).

I looked at the map. 6000 MILES?! I don't know how to break it to her, but it just can't be done. Sure the truck looks real good what with the pimp rims and the euro tail lights. Even has new fur on the inside. But the engine is about shot and the tranny is gone. It's just won't make it there. I always told her I was great mechanic. Now she'll know I was just bragging.

How come St. George got beatified for killing the rarest creature ever, the sacred dragon, with a sodding great sword, while I get absolutely screwed by the RSPCA for slaying common frogs with a penknife?

Is this another example of one rule for one, and one rule for another?

Me, I go for pickled eggs and working my way to the back of a Pabst 12 pack. Not only am I smarter but funnier too. Why, just last night I met my girlfriend's husband. I was thoughtful and witty (Pabst does work wonders). I was telling him this and that, you know, about his wife. He said his self that I was just about the funniest sum b**** he ever met. That was just before he beat me with a bar stool, 2 pool cues, and something he found on the floor.
Yep, I,m sticking with Pabst. Not only does it give you pause for thought, but it works pretty good as a pain suppressor.

You ask a simple question on this site like "Are you a vegetarian" (which I am not) and someone answers with their presidential inauguration-type speech about people shouldn't hate on carnivores and such? This is just an example people. I am not hating on vegetarians or carnivores, but why are people so preachy early in the morning?
