The today show already is showing Christmas trees and playing carols and acting like its mid-winter. Must have been the tickle-elmo craze that got everyone in the mood

well....Halloween stuff comes out end of August.....yeah, the earlier they start with the Christmas stuff, the more the stores will sell, and let's not forget that that's the TRUE meaning of Christmas!

I'm from Australia, and we've had christmas stuff in the shops since mid September. Halloween isn't a big thing here, so after Fathers Day, Christmas is the next holiday for the shops to start pushing!!

My Christmas begins in September and runs all the way through January, I work for a Mall Developer and our Christmas tenants start opening in Sept. And the final ones are closing throughout January. You want to talk about depressing. Come work with me.....

It seems to me the Christmas season seems to start earlier and earlier. of course in some parts of the country they are going to get 6 to 12 inches of snow so to them it will feel like the Christmas season.

This is the time were people go and put some things on layway. I was in a store yesterday and saw a half the store decorated for christmas, and they allready had christmas tress can all that stuff!!!!

I hate it that they start bring out christmas stuff out with Halloween stuff,,, I mean I think that's the reason I am losing my love for Christmas,, Christmas is such a special time of year but we are losing the true spirit of it,, it breaks my little heart.

I hate that. I don't want to see anything Christmas until after Halloween. We get bombarded with Christmas items earlier and earlier every year.
