I looked at the map. 6000 MILES?! I don't know how to break it to her, but it just can't be done. Sure the truck looks real good what with the pimp rims and the euro tail lights. Even has new fur on the inside. But the engine is about shot and the tranny is gone. It's just won't make it there. I always told her I was great mechanic. Now she'll know I was just bragging.

Well it might be hard to drive to Hawaii. Why don't you just splurge and buy plane tickets? I think you might enjoy that more. By the time you drive 6,000 miles your vacation time would be over and you'd have to turn around and get back in a hurry. Also I don't think they've completed that bridge that they were going to build over to Hawaii from California.

Uh huh. Did you know that the beautiful "Hawaiian" beaches actually get all their sand imported from Australia? The Island's so tiny, all the sand gets washed away every year.
